The Hangover - 4 out of 5

I just came back from 'The Hangover' this evening and was thoroughly impressed with the movie. It has definitely lived up to its enormous hype, and although mentions of 'Old School' and 'Wedding Crashers' were not over-mentioned in comparison, it's a movie with similar taste but paves its own unique, almost dark humor along the way to inevitable success.

If you have ever been acquainted with Zach Galifianakis' comedy, perhaps along side Will Ferrell and his Funny or Die tour, then you will appreciate the odd and seemingly random bits that he provides in the movie. To supplement your need for more red bearded laughs visit his website, www.zachgalifianakis.com, and watch the music video he made for Kanye West's 'Can't Tell Me Nothin' (or follow this link). Then check out this link to his promotion of 'The Hangover' with co-star Bradley Cooper.

As good as Zach was in the film, accumulating laughs every time he was present, Ed Helms did a great job in his toothless performance. He was especially good because he took some good qualities from his character on 'The Office' but was able to separate the two roles to allow you to be genuinely funny.

Overall I give the movie 4 out of 5 for a comedy that will keep you laughing till the last credit roles (make sure you do stay until the full screen credits begin)

The Best Baldwin...

http://www.nbc.com/Saturday_Night_Live/video/clips/wii-guys/1018727/

Great Sketch. Do you agree that Alec is the best Baldwin brother? First of all, he is still around. And for those of you who have not seen him in '30 Rock'... Comedic gold. This Saturday Night Live clip, I feel, shows his full potential.

I, too, am quitting my job to become a rapper

Like Mr. Phoenix, I have come to the difficult decision to quit my career that I have worked so hard in, and accomplished so much, and I am now going to pursue rap stardom.

I have adopted the rap alias "The." You can fill in the remaining description... The Best, The Greatest, The Man, whatever you want, but always The John Seeds

I'm going to give you a little preview of my upcoming album featuring beats by Proper-T!!

Lincoln's Back Baby!

My cousin, Philip, was a part of the new television series on Lincoln that covers his burial and the interesting circumstances around that event.

If you aren't familiar with Lincoln at all, he was a very interesting historical figure, hence all the literature about him.

UNC looked good in win over Duke

http://tarheelblue.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/recaps/021109aaa.html

My Tar Heels (I went to chapel hill for those who didn't know) looked good for the most part last night. With a crucial start to the game Deon decided to step up for the first time, seemingly, since the start of ACC play. He and Bobby Frasier must have had a little meeting and decided that they wanted to join the basketball games that the rest of the team was playing. I love bobby's play in general, because he works hard, and plays under control smart basketball. But without that shot he was hitting on Wed night, his offense creates a liability that is not there with the starting five on the floor. What I liked about Deon in the Duke game was not necessarily his string of buckets to start the game, although that was great, but his hustle to the ball and strength after contact. I had been growing steadily more frustrated with his lack of ability to hold onto rebounds, preferring the more effective Ed Davis. But in cameron, Thompson showed how physical he CAN be when he gets hyped for a game... Lets hope that continues into march.

The game's larger margin of victory however came down to Ty's lay-ups. He has always shown a proficiency for making some acrobatic shots around the rim, but he blew past every defender Duke tried to keep in front of him. In doing so he finally elevated his game to the even loftier expectations he bares every time he steps on the court.

Oh, and Tyler was a beast... as always.
